This was a powerful movie. It was better than I expected, and I was expecting it to be pretty good. Also, I didn't think that it was 'too' bloody, though it was pretty bloody. There were a few small scenes that were classic Mel...but that's not a bad thing either.
Recommend? YES. But please remember this is a MOVIE, and don't start persecutin' after you watch it, yo.

I wonder if it's bloodier than Dawn of the Dead? And why isn't there a Jesus Zombie movie? "forgive them Father, for they know not whose brains they eat..."
Hey! We should start a quest to find the bloodiest movie ever! I wonder what it would be?
But I will try to watch your Dawn of the Dead (the new one) this weekend, after hours and hours of breathing insulation and dust. And then I will comment on its bloodiness.
You know what me and Maggie agreed was really nice about dawn of the dead? The stupidity of the characters. They kept doing things and we were always saying: "why are you doing that!? That's so stupid!" They just don't make enough good Yell-at-the-tv movies anymore. I bet The Passion is the same way. "Judas, what the hell are you doing?!"
